Hello everyone! I got back from China on Sunday but was too lazy to update this. The fact of the matter is that Livejournal completely owns xanga, even though most of my friends don't have one, which can actually be a good thing sometimes. So I'll read any comments left on my xanga, but I won't reply to them unless somebody has some kind of urgent news. Don't know why anyone would leave me breaking news in a comment, though. That's what AIM's for.

I'm sorry I don't have any photos up at the moment. The family has deemed installing the uploading program too risky for our old Windows '98, but I think we'll have to since it doesn't look like I'm getting a laptop until the end of the year. A lazy Sunday shall be best for this chore. So wait! Be patient!

At the moment, my throat is sore, my voice is a tad off, and I have a slight cough, which I caught from Keane. But it doesn't really matter because Keane's roomate, Nolan, whom I have talked to a few times, is coming over to our house TONIGHT!!!! This is going to be so weird.

An even more important date on the calendar is August 29th. That's the day we Lowllites enter The Arena to choose our classes. I don't wanna go back obviously because it really is hell, but I have to so the least I can do is hope soph year will be better than freshman year in all aspects: friend-wise, teacher-wise, event-wise, dance-wise, etc. etc. Ergh.

Well, that's it. I'd just like to say that anybody that hasn't finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince needs to finish it NOW; anybody that hasn't given the Kaiser Chiefs a listen needs to do that NOW; and anybody that wants to reach me can do so at my makeshift, my myspace, and my livejournal (you can leave comments even if you don't have one). Cheers!

It's 12:30 AM and my reasons for being here are:

a)I don't like getting off the computer early on a Friday night and
b)I miss reading my subscriptions.

So everything's been just dandy. This past week has gone by so quickly. Monday was July 4th, of course, and the whole family stayed in, ate watermelon, and watched the fireworks of course. The next day, neither Keane or I felt like getting up, so we stayed home and lazed around. Wednesday was a really, really fun day with Kimberly, Anna, and Annie because I met some new guys who were great to hang out with.

I spent all Thursday morning watching the news because of the London bombings: three subways, one double-decker bus, 37 confirmed dead, and hundreds injured. My heart goes out to all the victims and their families. (I still wish we would just finish up with Iraq already and stop meddling with other countries' affairs as the US is known to do.)

And today I hung out with the same group on Wednesday, but it didn't feel exactly the same. I got some good footage of Annie and Anna arguing though haha. I love that feature on my camera. Yesterday, Keane was dancing to James Brown and I caught a little bit of it! He was so embarrassed =D

So...I'm packing tomorrow...and I'm feeling all nervous and crap. Blahhh.

One last thing: Thanks so much to Spencer for the Kaiser Chiefs poster! Hope you see this..If not, well, everyone else can feel happy for me! I only get to enjoy it for a day before we jet off though =[[[[[

Okay I haven't posted in ages since I've been wary of xanga's pop-up ADs. So a quick rundown of how my summer's been:

I've been hanging out with Keane almost every day. Some days are funner than others, but it doesn't really matter since he's my older brother and I don't get sick of him.

I've watched Amelie (too lazy to put in that accent), Say Anything, Dodgeball, High Fidelity (my second time), and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. All high-quality movies.

My family finally owns a digital camera! Two to be exact. One for the family and one for Keane since his college is across the country.

We'll be leaving for China July 12th and returning August 8th. The heat shall surely be the death of me.

I don't miss anyone or anything, really. Sometimes I get slight pangs, but nothing too significant.

Sorry I won't be commenting on anyone's xangas any time soon. You can find me on myspace though. Yeah, yeah, I know, but it's really not that bad. Have an ace summer, everyone! GET OUT THERE AND GET A TAN....or get sunburned if your skin hates you.

SCHOOL'S OVER!!!!!!!!!!!! CELEBRATION TIME!!!! Hell no am I going back to Lowell for the last few days. Screw my finals results! Today I hung out with Keane and only went to school to empty out my beloved locker and get my OC DVDs back from Aza (she still forgot them =O). I got a lovely surprise though; I saw some people I didn't think were going to be in the library, but lo and behold, there they were. But I liked the feeling of having to say goodbye yesterday. Seeing them today felt too odd, misplaced, and depressing.

Tomorrow, I'm going to hang out with Keane again. We're taking a camcorder around the city and filming Keane's life for his girlfriend back in Maine. He has footage of me when I woke up this morning. I was freaking out and complaining cos Annie's TV Guide said that Kaiser Chiefs were going to be on Craig Ferguson last night, so I stayed up past 1 and then some fricking Spanish band came on. LIKE WTFBBQ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I'm seeing them on Friday at BFD though--hooray!

On another note, I can't stop missing a senior. All of the ones I know from Drama are cool, it's just...something different with him and something I can't explain or I don't feel like explaining. The class of '05 graduates tonight at the Masonic Auditorium. The ceremony begins at 7, I believe.

Everything feels so final.

Yep, haven't done one of these in awhile. I got this from Carmen!

THREE THINGS I AM WEARING RIGHT NOW
1. Pajama pants
2. A way-too-dirty, sky blue sweatshirt
3. My new glasses

THREE THINGS ON MY DESK
1. TIME magazines
2. A Spider-man PEZ dispenser
3. The kickass Yoda toy Keane got from Burger King

THREE THINGS I WANT TO DO BEFORE I DIE
1. Bungee jump or sky dive
2. Tell those guys&gals close to my heart what I really think of them.
3. Meet somebody famous.

THREE GOOD THINGS TO DESCRIBE MY PERSONALITY
1. Caring
2. Optimistic
3. Generous

THREE BAD THINGS ABOUT MY PERSONALITY
1. I get frustrated and have hateful moments.
2. I pay too much attention helping people with their problems to focus on mine.
3. I don't speak up enough.

THREE THINGS I LIKE ABOUT MY BODY
1. My eyes. (That's a feature, rather than a body part, but it counts dammit.)
2. My arms, I guess.
3. My small hands.

THREE THINGS I DON'T LIKE ABOUT MY BODY
1. The length of my legs.
2. My nose.
3. Scars in the worst places (Again, more of a feature than a body part, but shut up.)

THREE THINGS I SAY THE MOST
1. Shut up!

2. Enjoying my role as volleyball catcher at Aim High.
3. Seeing blockbusters with the fam.

THREE BEST DATE SPOTS
1. Er I've never gone on a date, but I suppose the park would be nice. Right when it starts to get dark and the children clear off cos it'd be quiet, not cos we'd be able to make out.
2. The ice-skating rink's always a laugh, seeing as I can't skate for tofu.
3. Playing video games at an arcade or at the guy's house would be loads of fun.

THREE FAVORITE ARTISTS/BANDS
